Eddie Bines Speaks to The Telegraph About the Chancellor’s Proposed Changes to Entrepreneurs’ Relief

Eddie Bines, Director in Duff & Phelps Global Restructuring Advisory practice, was recently featured in The Telegraph discussing the Chancellor’s plans to axe tax breaks for entrepreneurs and what this will mean for the entrepreneurial community.

Eddie warned that any changes made to the tax relief in the March 11 budget might harm small business owners’ hopes of selling their firms before retiring. 

He said some of those planning to do so might consider accelerating their “exit and retirement strategies and potentially lock in the 10% tax rate before it is too late.”
